Judge Caryl Privett of Independent Presbyterian Church and Attorney Lee Cleveland of South Highland Presbyterian Church led a meeting Thursday, March 30th to learn about the changes being proposed for our Book of Order. Both Caryl and Lee have had experience with the old “Rules of Discipline” section of the Book of Order, and volunteered their time to lead a discussion on the proposed replacement “Church Discipline”.
The Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley will vote to approve/disapprove the proposed “Church Discipline” at our next meeting which is scheduled for May 18, 2023, at Independent Presbyterian Church.
