IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE UPCOMING
Presbyters,
Moderator Deborah Thomas has called for a special Zoom meeting of the Presbytery at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024. The request for the meeting was made by the Trustees (six ruling elders from four different congregations, and 3 ministers).
The Trustees bring to the Presbytery two recommendations:
(1) approve the application of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Birmingham for a loan of $44,000 from the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program for the purpose of mold remediation and related building renovations;
(2) authorize the appropriate officers of the Presbytery to execute and deliver a guaranty of the loan indebtedness and other loan closing documents in form acceptable to the Trustees and to take any and all other or further actions as reasonably may be necessary to facilitate the loan transaction.
Following our Standing Rules, these are the only items of business to be transacted.
