“Small” Ministries – BIG Impact

In our time together we will celebrate small ministries and congregations while considering who God is calling us to be.  We will spend time exploring our calling and translating our theological heritage into the language of today.  The future of the church is outside its own wall, andstepping into that future will take courage, intentionality and a strong sense of who we are called to be.

The 2025 Habitat House Build

On Thursday, May 8, we begin the construction of this year’s Habitat for Humanity house. Birmingham area Presbyterian Churches help to sponsor a house every year. This year, we are building the house for the Jasmene Jones family. The house will be in the Hopewell area of Bessemer, at 4016 Morninghope Drive.
Google Maps only shows Morninghope Drive, but once one gets to Morninghope Drive, you can find the lot. The lot is fairly level. The concrete slab has been constructed, with the plumbing stubbed in. Pictures are available on our Facebook page here. To volunteer, go to habitatbirmingham.org and click on Volunteer, or contact Ralls Coston at Presbytery, rcoston@pslpcusa.org
