Phyllis Ward

Phyllis Ward is the Director of Christian Education at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Montgomery.  She has been working with the camping program of our presbytery for a L O N G time because she loves it and believes building a relationship with God while building relationships within the community of other campers is important.  She is mother to Sarah, Mikey and Adam, all of whom have grown up in the presbytery's camping program.  She and her husband, Mike, enjoy travel and being outdoors.   The Ward family has two dogs, Valentine and Chester, and one very odd cat, Lightning. Phyllis is looking forward to another year of learning about God's wonderful creation at Discovery Camp.

Katie Steverson

Katie Steverson is a lifetime Presbyterian, a member of Center Point Presbyterian Church, who grew up going to camps right here in our Presbytery. She continued to go to camps while at Auburn. She has not only been a camper but also a counselor and a head counselor.  Katie is currently a middle school teacher, a mother of a kindergartener and a second grader, and a huge fan of GOD! She is very excited to join you at camp this summer!

Cathie Price

I am so excited about Discovery camp 2013. I was a camp counselor for the presbytery for three years, and before that I attended camp a handful of times. Because of church camp, I have the relationship with God that is strong.  I am a teacher with Head Start and work at Bethel Presbyterian in Northport with both youth and young ones. I love working with the young ones. I am excited about spreading my love of camp to the next generation of campers.
